Borneo Cultural Festival - Ruai Dayak ...

I will let the pictures speak for themselves ... taken last night ... at the festival!

Students of SMK Sibu Jaya who participated in the Men/Ladie Ngajat & Betaboh ... well done! They did a good job!!

Cr. Tengku handing over the 1st prize winner of Kajat Indu to mmmm ... forgot her name; but I think she's Yam's daughter! Both mother & daughter are great dancers! Well done, Steven!!

hmmmm Indai Bulan (member of SIDS, Sibu) receiving the 1st prize for the Betaboh category!! Hooray for SIDS!!! (All the judges were NOT SIDS members or at anytime joined SIDS! They were men!! :D)

The winning group ...

The large crowd at the Ruai Dayak.

The food stalls ...
I forgot to take pictures of SIDS & my stalls, selling crafts and food, respectively! So if your in Sibu, do stop at the various Dayak stalls AND especially the SIDS stall and support us by buying some souvenirs. Enjoy the Chicken Bamboo (pansuh manok serta iya ke siti bisi meh dijual bala, tang nanya belalai ;) ) and the various type of food. Your will find bbq prawns (fresh) also at my stall!
So as you can imagine, my family and I (once again I forgot to take pictures, as I was too excited and enjoying the food too much!!) had dinner at the BCF stall of pansuh, bbq fish, kebab, rojak, and for dessert 'penyaram'. Yummmmyyy!!!
So friends, do come to Sibu for this week and if your there, look for me at Stall No. 5 or somewhere near; as I am constantly moving around!

Ngiling Bidai di Opis ...

The ever popular 2 young ladies is full attire ... sigi bajik indu kitai Iban nama udah ngena Ngepan! huuuuuuuuhaaaaaaaaaa Thank you ladies!!

The 3 officers who left the hall last ... Imang, BujangCmanng, and Lynder!

The Dayak staff organized a Ngiling Bidai High Tea at the office on thursday (3 July) to mark the end of the Gawai Celebration, to entertain the non Dayak staff, and also as an effort to 'unite' the Dayak staff, in particular.

Thanks BujangCmanggang, Lynder & Imang, Kemasess, and the two young beautiful ladies for all your efforts. The young ladies were in 'great demand' from the staff for photo taking!
