Relaxing ...

I think I am finally recovered from the hectic Friday night function! Gosh, by 12:30am - I was a 'wilting flower' and constantly looking at my watch and thinking of my comfy bed!! Unfortunately, couldn't leave with all the bosses still around!!

Therefore, today, I literally took a day of rest! Of course, watching a movie is considered resting; although the brain cells tinkled, the heart beat, and the eyes moisture - either from the effect of the movie or could be all the dust circulating in the house!

The movie of the day was 'In her Shoes', a great sisterly love, family spirit, etc on tv2 (I think?! hahaha another of my unobservant nature; its also when my itchy fingers keep changing the channel; in the end I don't know what channel I was watching!). It was a relaxing movie - poison of the day!

In the movie, this poem was recited and I just love it ... and I thought I will share it. It really touches my heart! Getting more sentimental with maturity; I guess!

I carry your heart with me

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart),

I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling),
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet),
I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true), and
It's you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you.

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows,
(here is the root of the root, and the bud of the bud, and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide), and
This is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart,
I carry your heart (i carry it in my heart).
