Sibu ampuh!!

Paras ai di Sibu 3.25m jam 9 malam tu tadi! Niki ngagai 3.30m jam 9:30 malam.

Sehari-hari tu menoa kami tu banjir teruk; sekeda rumah panjai di Selangau ampuh serta bisi mega ditimpa tanah runtuh. Beberapa hari tu; orang ai nulong nganjung ai ngagai sekula ke endor bala beteduh! Kasih amat meda! Paras ai semakin niki!

Aku tu enda berani dreba ke luar; enggai ke mengkang di tengah jalai. Semina ninga reput ari bala staf ketegal ke endor pam ai nuka aba paras bahaya!

Water level has risen from 3.25m to 3.3m in half an hour since 9pm. This is probably one of the worst flood situation in the State; although Sibu had experienced several floods over the last decade. In neighboring district of Selanggau, floods coupled with landslides are affecting lots of longhouses where they had to be evacuated to centers. We have been helping in a small way by supplying them with water from Sibu.

Since this morning, I had not ventured outside my house/office as I didn't want to be stuck in traffic or have my babe' (car) to 'kong' on me on the road!
